Bill has always been shown as the vampire with high ideals, which we know is a lie. Bill misrepresents himself for Sookie and the rest of Bon Temps benefit. Eric has always had them but they are not as outright noticeable. He likes to work from the shadows. He doesn’t have to shout his good deeds like Bill.
